Football Analyst Sutton Battles Singer Olly Murs in Top Flight Forecasts
The Gunners' 10-game winning streak was ended by Sunderland before the global hiatus, but can the Premier League frontrunners recover against local foes Spurs this weekend?
"{I feel like Arsenal are miles ahead of Tottenham currently but Spurs boss Thomas Frank will have a strategy for this game," stated football specialist Chris Sutton.
"The Spurs manager will attempt to nullify Arsenal, who have not always been at their scintillating best this campaign - but Mikel Arteta's team usually still manage to win."
Sutton is forecasting results for all 380 Premier League fixtures this season, versus AI, fans and a variety of guests.
For the twelfth round, he takes on performer Olly Murs, who is a Manchester United fan.
Murs' latest album, the new release, is out on Friday.
Soccer and Parenting Experiences
Murs is a skilled footballer as well as a successful singer and has been a star of several Soccer Aid games over time - but he is not intending a professional comeback as a footballer.
"{I recently played in a benefit game the other evening for a mate of mine," he said. "My team was losing 3-1 when I came off in the second half, and they proceeded to win 4-3, so you can read into that what you will!
"I still love football, but I injured my knee a few years ago and it still hasn't fully recovered. I wish I could play more but the unpredictability of the sport means it's too risky for me in my profession to do it properly again.
"Additionally I am forty-one now, and we are not all Cristiano Ronaldo, are we!? No, I am very content not playing football and I am gearing up for the time that my child or boy decides to play instead."
Murs and his wife Amelia Tank have a young family, Madison and Albert, and he is prepared to emulate his dad by taking on the role of their manager.
"I won't push football on our children but I've already told Amelia that if they happen to get the passion for it then I will have to go and get my manager qualifications - and I will likely be managing their weekend football side," he said.
"I observed my relatives play a lot, and I really got into it, and I clearly was involved with a soccer team for a while too.
"My father coached with us when I was a kid, which is likely where I inherited it. He coached our team for several seasons and had a wonderful time with it. That could be the future for me as well, and I am excited to it!"
Top Division Predictions
Saturday, 22 November
- Turf Moor, 12:30 GMT
The Blues might have to be patient for their star's return from fitness issues but their offense is already stronger with Joao Pedro and Delap both returned to fitness.
I still think this fixture will be quite tight, though. The Clarets are well organised and their sole at Turf Moor losses so far have been against the Reds and Arsenal.
It smells of a one-all draw to me, but I am in fact going to choose Chelsea to edge it for what would be their third consecutive Premier League win in a row.
Sutton's forecast: 1-2
Olly's pick: The Blues will be too strong. 1-3
Artificial intelligence's prediction: 0-2
- Vitality Stadium, 15:00 GMT
Bournemouth have been defeated in their past two matches - although both of them were on the road - but they got thoroughly beaten by Villa last time out which surprised me.
In contrast, West Ham won back-to-back victories before the hiatus and, although both of those games were at home, they do look competitive again.
The Hammers' only on the road victory this season came at Forest in August, when West Ham boss Nuno was previously that team's coach.
So, what on earth do I go with here - can West Ham extending their run under their manager, or Bournemouth responding?
I am going to choose the Cherries, because I believe what happened against Villa was a blip.
The pundit's prediction: 2-0
Olly's outlook: Bournemouth are doing well but West Ham have improved under their boss. 2-2
The algorithm's pick: 1-1
- Amex Stadium, 15:00 GMT
The Bees were seen as one of the frontrunners for the drop before the season started, but they have surprised a several observers under Keith Andrews and are in fine fettle with three in their past four matches.
A family member told me to select Bees forward Thiago in my Fantasy Football squad a few weeks back and, guess what, I didn't listen.
Thiago will likely score again on the weekend but I am still not going to select him or support the away side at Amex Stadium.
They have not had much success on the travel this term, and the Seagulls are consistently decent at their stadium. The visitors will try to hit them on the counter-attack but I feel the home manager's side carry much more of a danger.
The analyst's prediction: 2-1
Olly's prediction: It could be one of those games where you think there is going to be a many goals but it actually turns out to be rather tight. 1-1
AI's prediction: 2-1
- Craven Cottage, 15:00 GMT
This is a massive game for Fulham, who have suffered defeat in five of their last six matches.
They have got plenty of quality in their squad but it still seems like they could be dragged into a drop zone battle.
Regarding the Black Cats, well they are the unexpected success of the Premier League season so far.
The away side's performance in the 2-2 tie with Arsenal last time out was excellent. We have not witnessed anyone else rough up the Gunners like that this term, and they were fully competitive for them.
The logical choice would be to back the Black Cats here, because they are obviously capable of roughing Fulham up too and, the previous occasion they were in this part of London, they defeated Chelsea at the end of last month.
But I am not going to do that. Rather, I truly need to carry on going against the away team with my predictions. I am taking a lot of responsibility for their positive results because they clearly love to prove me wrong.
Considering Fulham's home record, the sole side they have lost to is the league leaders. Marco Silva's team will be absolutely desperate for a positive result, so I am going to predict they will pick up three points.
Sutton's forecast: 1-0
Olly's prediction: I know Sunderland are performing strongly and also that the hosts are on a poor run... but Fulham have still been respectable at Craven Cottage this campaign. 2-0
The algorithm's prediction: 2-0

It is a tough fixture to call. Liverpool have lost seven of their past 10 matches in every tournament, but could they be one of the teams who profit from the {international break|
