Newest Processing Facility Attack Shows 'No Protected Places in Russia's Far Hinterland'
Ukrainian UAVs have struck Russia's oil refinery in the city of Ufa, situated approximately 1,400 kilometres from the Ukrainian border, resulting in detonations and a blaze, per a source in the Ukrainian intelligence agency.
This represents the 3rd SBU deep strike in Bashkortostan in the recent weeks. These strikes demonstrate that there are no safe places in the far hinterland of the Russian Federation.
Zelenskyy Appeals to Trump to Facilitate Ceasefire in the Conflict

Electricity Restoration Work in Kyiv
Work proceeded on Saturday to recover electricity in Kyiv, after strikes by Moscow.
Energy had been restored to over 800,000 residents by Saturday and the largest private energy company announced the main efforts to repair the grid was finished though certain disruptions remained.
Air Defence Operations and UAV Downings
Ukraine's air defences neutralized fifty-four of seventy-eight UAVs from Russia launched targeting the country overnight, the military said on Saturday.
Russia's military authorities claimed it shot down 42 enemy drones over its own soil.
Cuba Refutes Allegations of Deploying Soldiers to the War
The Cuban government on the weekend denied US assertions it has sent military personnel to participate in the Ukraine war, while affirming officials in Havana "lack precise information about individuals" participating "independently" or "in the military forces of either party".
The ministry in Havana said 26 nationals had been given prison terms to prison terms varying between five to 14 years for participating as mercenaries since last September when news spread of individuals being sent to the frontlines in the conflict.

I Want to Live, a official Kyiv program that promotes adversaries to give up, reported in May: "Our information indicates the names and personal details of 1,028 individuals who entered into agreements with the Russian military in recently."

Relatives of Cubans who left for Russia in 2023 reported to international media at the time that their family members had been tricked into joining through promotions on online platforms.
